I went in for my six- month cleaning and dental exam. The hygienist and Dr. McFarren took time to explain and teach about issues I was having. This practice has caring and professional staff that understand the role they have as healthcare providers.

I was apprehensive about going to the dentist after having broke a tooth. I had a dentist in the Detroit area. I was very happy with when I moved back to Jackson and with rising gas prices making an hour drive each time I needed to visit the dentist didn’t seem like a very good plan. I found some point dental because of the good reviews and from the moment I enter the door I could see what people were talking about. The staff is friendly and clearly likes working there and the dentist are compassionate, informative, and very helpful. I recommend this practice to anyone who needs dental care. I returned the same afternoon and had a tooth extracted. No one likes to have a tooth pulled but again this was a pretty good experience. I recommend all the staff for being friendly, compassionate and concerned so it started out as a not very good opportunity. turned into a good experience

Great experience at this dental office. The hygienist, Becca, was kind and gentle with my daughter who has Autism, and she did a great job with her. The office was welcoming and all the staff were friendly and helpful. So glad we found Summit Pointe Dental.

Summit Pointe Dental has been my go-to in Jackson, and the experience keeps getting better. The office is clean, scheduling is easy, and they actually run on time, which I appreciate. Beca is the best hygienist I've had. She’s incredibly thorough without making it uncomfortable, explains what she’s doing along the way, and has a genuinely pleasant, calming approach. You can tell she cares about the details and about making patients feel at ease. Dr. and the rest of the team are just as professional and friendly. They don’t upsell or rush you, and they take time to answer questions. If you’re looking for a dental clinic in Jackson that combines solid clinical work with people who treat you like a person, Summit Pointe is it.

Highly professional and personable staff. Aspen dental charged $250 for x rays even with insurance. Summit pointe charged me $0 with insurance. Aspen tried to tell me I needed $5k worth of work done without cleaning my teeth. Stephanie at Summit pointe gave me an excellent cleaning, and the Doc said everything looks great. Never go to Aspen. Go to Summit pointe 👍

Excellent, excellent dental. I've worked with both Dr. McFerran and Dr. Atif and they're both wonderful. I needed a same-day crown and Dr. Atif had me in and out in an hour and a half with a temporary crown on. I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the tech, the quick check from billing to see what I would be paying out the door when I had to switch from filling to crown, and the bedside manner of the doctor. He was nice to everyone in the room, other staff and myself included, and very gentle on my mouth. 10/10 would recommend both doctors, actually. Either way you go, you're in good hands!

I had to come in for an unexpected dental emergency today after a crown broke, and I am so incredibly grateful for how quickly and professionally this office handled everything. They were able to get me in right away, and from the moment I walked in, everyone was kind, calm, and reassuring. Dental emergencies can be stressful and painful, but they made the entire experience feel manageable. Dr. Mark was able to fix my crown the same day, and the relief was almost immediate. I went from being in significant discomfort to having zero pain after the repair, which was such a huge relief. I really appreciate how prompt, efficient, and compassionate the entire team was. The best service I’ve ever experienced

It was my first time at this office and as I have had bad experiences in the past I was a bit nervous trying a new dentist. I have to say the entire experience was very pleasant, one of the very best I've ever had at any dentist office in my whole 43 years of life! The office ladies were very helpful and nice, from the very start Julie helped me feel very at ease, she was kind and did a great job answering all my questions before and after. Dr. Atif Did an excellent job of explaining things to me and alleviating my concerns and fears. I have to say that my overall experience was excellent! I'm actually looking forward to going back and having cavities filled. Well maybe not the cavities but I'm looking forward to seeing the staff again.

Everyone is so so friendly at this place. They make you feel comfortable and well taken care off! I am always afraid of dentist visits. I cry like a little baby and they are sooo attentive. I cannot think of another office and dentist that made me feel in such good hands.

I came in for fillings but also had a bridge and cleanings done here in the past. I highly recommend summit point dental! I used to be sedated to see a dentist. I had a horrible experience with another dentist that caused severe anxiety. Because I am comfortable and completely trust the dentist and all the staff I no longer need any sedative and my anxiety is almost nonexistent! I will never see another dentist!

This is the best dental practice I’ve been to. The office staff are welcoming and friendly. I can’t recommend Dr. Atif enough! He is incredibly skilled at his craft. He provides excellent care and goes through great lengths to make you feel comfortable and safe. Every appointment has been a positive experience. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable and does a great job of explaining and answering your questions. You can tell they really care about their patients and the quality of care that they receive.

Originally I came here because Tina was so nice and accommodating on the initial phone call, and after going once I’ll keep going because everyone else is just as nice. The office is very clean and modern as well. I’ve only been there for a cleaning so far, but it was quick and my teeth are clean.

Dr. McFerran and his entire staff are Extraordinary! I was in pain for 2 days and called to see if they could get me in, and they saw me the same day within a few hours. I have a tooth that is abscessed. Dr. McFerran went above and beyond to make me comfortable, giving me amoxicillin during my visit and setting up a treatment plan to take care of my abscessed tooth. I am very happy with the care I received and I highly recommend Dr. McFerran for a dentist.

I have had a mouth of full issues pun intended for years due to genetics and being in a abusive relationship for almost 5 years. I also suffer severe depression and anxiety, and previously visited a different now dissolved dentist in my area that did not do what they should have for my teeth, but that's all to say the team at Summit Pointe is everything you could ask for and more in a dental office team. They're through, friendly, funny, and I have never felt anything but taken care of and welcome here and their missed appt policy is one of the best around. Give it a try. You'll walk out feeling like you have a movie star smile when Dr. Mark and his hygienist are done.

I have to say they did not disappointment. The front office knew my out of pocket cost prior to my visit. The hygienist Lexi was very welcoming and thorough. I can’t say enough about this amazing group of people. Everyone is so friendly. I was apprehensive about my first root canal and they were great. I had no reason to worry and they put me at ease. I scheduled an appointment for my son as a new patient and two weeks before the appointment he broke his tooth in a basketball game. I called Monday morning and they squeezed him in that day! My son and I are so grateful. Thank you!

Great first experience! I waited for fewer than five minutes after checking in. The dentist and assistant were both very gentle with my mouth, careful not to cause any pain. We made a game plan and I will be bringing my whole family back. 100% recommend!

Comparing a relaxing spa day to the dentist sounds insane right? I know it does but from my second visit to now( years later) it still feels that way. Warm neck pillow, bottled water and just a friendly and relaxing atmosphere is what you get here. I never really liked going to the dentist but Mallory and the staff at Summit Pointe changed that. Everyone was so kind and laid back. Mallory did a great job cleaning my teeth. I usually leave the dentist with sore gums and feeling like a mess. None of that after Mallory cleaned them. 6 hours later and they still feel shiny and clean. Not gritty at all. If Mallory isn’t cleaning your teeth your missing out!

We have used Dr. McFerran as our primary dentist for nearly 20 years. We are very happy with the level of care as well as the personal treatment from his excellent staff. Scheduling perio maintenance is nearly always with the same person, so you can build a rapport with your dental tech. Office staff are friendly and courteous. Billing is painless. Dr. McFerran is also excellent at pain avoidance and has a gentle touch as well as knowing your history and remembering key details of your care. If you are looking for a new dentist in the Jackson area, i highly recommend you check out Dr. McFerran. He's got my business as long as he practices.

I can’t tell you how much of an amazing experience I had. Normally I get anxiety and anxious when I got to the dentist. With the experience that j had I left calmer then when I had arrived. There compassion is amazing they treat you just as nice as they can. My teeth felt absolutely amazing when I left. I only wish that I would have found this clinic sooner. I highly recommend.

Comfortable and friendly

Dr Mark McFerran has been our dentist in Michigan for years and years! He holds the standard and we'd compare every other dentist to him in the several U.S. States and international countries where we lived. There was an especially smooth railroad crossing on our way to the dentist when our kids were small and I'd say, "That's what it's like to go to Dr. McFerran. No one wants to be jostled about. He combines knowledge, gifting and gentle care in dentistry!"

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Mark for many years. Not only does he do great dental work but his staff members are friendly, competent, and efficient. If you had any anxiety about going to the dentist, I think you would find the whole experience at the office to be positive and assuring.

Going to the dentist isn’t always a wonderful experience, however Dr. McFerran’s office & team are amazing! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Everything is incredibly clean & sterile but the environment is cozy and comfortable. I recently had a cleaning and a filling and it went quickly and relatively pain-free! I especially loved the offer of a warm neck pillow during my service. If you need a dentist don’t hesitate to make an appointment!

Great experience! My son gets a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. Dr. Mcferran was able to calm my son’s anxieties and now he doesn’t hate going to the dentist. If you have kids that struggle going to the dentist, highly recommend Dr. Mcferran, he’s very good with children!

I can’t say I like going to the dentist, but since I have too, this is the place to go. Everyone there is so nice, they are all like family (The good family not the crazy Uncle type!). Just had some recent work done and my wife, daughter and new grandson came with me to visit the McFerran office family. They are truly the best!

The hygienists are always so friendly and kind. Dr. Mcferran is awesome and always so personable (even though I only see him twice a year he remembers things about me I wouldn’t expect him to!) The building is very homey and well maintained! 100% recommend them!

I went to Dr McFerran as a child in another town and recently found him again here in Jackson so I made an appt. He is so very kind and patient. His staff of ladies were AWESOME! Everyone was so kind, welcoming & comfortable. Annie was the one to get my ex-rays(which do not hurt anymore) and settle me in. She offered me a warm neck pillow and a drink. She made me feel so comfortable and we spoke like we had known each other forever. Lindsey was my "gum" girl as she accessed my mouth for cleaning and was so nice as well. I can't say enough good things about this dentist staff!! I would recommend anyone to try a visit I guarantee you will go back!

Dr McFerran and their staff are amazing. From the minute you walk in the door and you are greeted by Tina’s welcoming smile, you feel at home. This office provides a warm comfortable surrounding. The attention to partient comfort is awesome. Annie made me feel totally at ease, which was not easy as I was coming in with a dental emergency. Dr Mark is thoughtful and explains things well. Linda greets me and remembers conversations from six months ago. The staff do an amazing job of being personable and professional. And Dr. Mark is fantastic. They interface well with our insurance and make it easy to stay with them. I'd highly recommend their team.
